2035 Comprehensive Plan for Richland County

This is a Summary Report of the 2035 Comprehensive Plan for Richland County

While a number of Ohio communities have regulations for driveways known as access management, Richland County has not adopted formal county-wide standards. This guidebook has been compiled from a draft of standards that had been proposed for the county. The suggestions are intended to assisted residents in siting low-volume driveways.

Farmland Preservation Plan

In 1999, Richland County Commissioners began working on farmland preservation plans to help aid in the agricultural legacy of our region.

Public Improvement Standards for Richland County, Ohio

The provisions and requirements of these Standards shall be construed to be minimum requirements for design, construction, maintenance and repair of public improvements and nothing herein shall prohibit the subdivider from exceeding these minimum requirements.
