Transportation Regional Mobility Planner
RCRPC provides exceptional land-use and transportation planning services to Richland County, Ohio communities. This is a new position within RCRPC to plan, develop, implement, and promote a Regional Coordinated Transportation Plan, that best responds to the needs of the disabled, older adults, and low-income residents to access jobs, medical services, social destinations in the multicounty Region Five that includes Seneca, Huron, Richland, Crawford, Ashland, Marion, Morrow and Knox as designated by Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).
The position represents an exciting opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated, and creative individual to develop and administer a regional mobility management program. The primary focus for the first year of this position will be to work with the mobility managers and transit partners of the counties within the region to build a shared understanding of a regional mobility program, update the Richland County Coordinated Human Services Plan, and establish the regional advisory committee.
Work is performed under the general direction of the RCRPC Executive Director. Opportunity for hybrid work will be considered.
Salary Range: $ 51,500 - 69,500 commensurate with experience, skills and education.
