Economic Development

Economic development activities of the Richland County Regional Planning Commission include the oversight of the Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) that provides assistance to help small businesses in financing their job creating expansion projects. The Commission also administers the Enterprise Zone Program for the County that provides tax incentives for business expansion. It also maintains a supportive and cooperative relationship with the Richland Economic Development Corporation, Chamber of Commerce organizations throughout the County and Downtown Mansfield, Inc., an organization that focuses on redevelopment.
