Attachment: hccrashloc20062008pt1.pdf

The Richland County Regional Planning Commission developed and maintains a database of crash information in Richland County from crash records downloaded from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.  That data is then processed to identify High Crash Locations and we have named that process the High Crash Location Identification System to emulate the Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT’s) Ohio Enhanced Crash Location Identification System.  By doing this we can see how locations that we identify in Richland County measure against those identified by ODOT.
